Victor entered the Room and looks in amazement at all the fancy things in it. He was used to wooden tables and benches, with paper plates. He sat down awkwardly next to the girl who called herself Mai, the fencer, feeling sorta weird about this being how he was kinda dirty with his clothes being dirty themselves. He looked curiously at the girl, 'artificial Intel...?' He wondered, whatever that wAs. The most technology he had was an old pickup truck.
Listening to each of the others' introductions made him smile. There were so many cool people here, from pilots to fencers, such a wide variety. When a pause came, he decided it was his turn. Standing up, he tipped his hat off to everyone and smiled
"Howdy! My name is Victor Jones and I'm the Ultimate Rodeo! Any thing related to cows, that's my talent! It's realy nice to meet ya'll!" He said and with that, he sat down.

Keasha figured enough time had passed and stood up herself, "Well, I suppose I'm next. My name is Keasha Thompson, and I'm an ace shooter. My official title is the Ultimate Shot, but there have been better if you ask me. I hope we can enjoy each others company." With that she sat back down, and began to watch for the next person to introduce them self. She also sipped her coffee, but nearly spat it out, but convinced herself to swallow the bitter concoction before setting it down, and not touching it again.

Lucca looked at all of the other students from the doorway, unsure of what to do.
I guess I should say something.
"Umm, hi everyone. I'm sorry I was late. I slept right through my alarm, haha. My name is Lucca Bello and I'm the Ultimate Actor. Some of you may recognize me from one of the many movies I have been in. I've performed in pretty much every country in the world haha. I've committed several scripts to memory and I could even recite some for you if you want haha. It's nice to meet you all." After Lucca said that he walked over to a table and found an empty seat and sat down. He could only stare at the plate of food, too embarrassed to look at anyone in the face. He had never been late to a gathering before and couldn't help but feel as if everyone was looking at him. After about 5 minutes of staring at the food he looked up and was impressed at his surroundings.
This room is astounding. It's so beautiful. And the people seem very interesting, I hope they're as friendly as they look. I can't wait to get to know them all.
He had taken a full look around the room when his eyes centered in on something strange, a weird hologram of a little girl. "W-what the hell is that!" Lucca screamed.

Amelia stretched her arms up, impatiently waiting for her turn to speak. She smiles wide, giving a polite wave. All of these are very interest Ultimates, she felt.
Though she couldn’t help but chuckle at the Ultimate Procrastinator.
She constantly played out in her head exactly what she would say, so she could say it properly in a way those who aren’t from America can understand her dialect. She took a deep breath and waved two fingers in front of her.
“Name’s Amelia Smith! I’m a second year at Hopes Peak Academy.” She shoves her hands in her jacket pockets, a bright grin on her face. “I’m the Ultimate Pilot! I hope I can get along with all of you. I promise, I don’t bite, dudes~” She felt her introduction introduced who she was as a person- friendly as optimistic. Due to her origins, she worries for her dialect, but she felt she was able to get everything through easily enough.

Post by Petre Lupei on Jul 23, 2015 0:38:13 GMT
He was late and it was completely the airline's fault. Petre himself had, of course, been on time, saying goodbye to his family after the school break and getting to the airport in Bucharest a full hour early. Then there were the delays. By the time his airplane had landed in Tokyo, and he had caught a taxi to the Half-Moon Mansion, he was late. What kind of impression would that make for himself? He honestly dreaded to find out. The taxi pulled to a stop in front of his home for the next week or so, and after paying the driver and getting out his wheeled suitcase, he headed up the stairs and inside.
Petre paused in the entrance hall, taking a look around at the empty foyer save for a childishly drawn banner. That wasn't a good sign. The orientation was supposed to start here after all. So where was everyone? Taking a moment to collect his thoughts, he finally heard the sound of voices coming from down the hall. Dragging his suitcase behind him, he followed them to a room that could only be the mansion's dining hall. There were already a lot of fellow students gathered inside, so it was easy to deduce that this was the place the orientation was taking place. He walked in, joining the others and trying not to draw too much attention to the fact that he was late.
Introductions were being made, and though he had already missed a few of them, he listened intently to the rest. Picking out a seat at the table, he was about to reach for the coffee in front of him (the effects of jet lag were upon him and he hoped they could have some free time to rest soon), when he realized he should introduce himself next during the momentary lull. After all, he was already standing. Clearing his throat, he smiled warmly. "My name is Petre Lupei," he began, the accent in his voice clear. "I'm a third year at Hope's Peak, and my title would be the Ultimate Forensic Scientist. You might know me from my work on the Gabor murders..." It had been a serial murder case in Bucharest that he had helped to solve by finding forensic evidence others had missed, but then, he didn't know how many outside of the country would know about it. "I hope we all get along. Multumesc." He bowed in what he had learned was a customary Japanese greeting, and then finally took his seat.

Post by Kiyomine Shimazu on Jul 23, 2015 1:16:53 GMT
Sometimes the only pay-off for having any faith Is when it's tested again and again everyday I'm still comparing your past to my future It might be your wound but they're my sutures Ignoring pretty much everything around him for the moment, Kiyomine made a beeline for the food table and was pleasantly surprised to find traditional Japanese cuisine among the assortment that had been laid out. He'd already had breakfast, but that didn't mean he couldn't use an extra serving of rice. Food and chopsticks in hand, Kiyomine snagged a cup of coffee from an empty seat at the dining table and headed to the side of the room to lounge against the wall. He claimed the chair at the end of the row furthest from the door and carefully set his coffee on it before muttering a quick thanks and wolfing down his meal. Mmm. After a few days of trying brown rice for a change, white rice was like heaven on his tongue. Once the last grain had been picked from his bowl, he swapped his bowl and chopsticks for the coffee he'd left to cool, sipping it contemplatively as the rest of his now-schoolmates introduced themselves and their talents. Most of the talents didn't mean much to the spiky-haired teenager. They only made it clear that this was a gathering of apparent prodigies, as if that hadn't been obvious enough already from the invitation letter. The only one Kiyomine took real interest in was Saotome, whose introduction had garnered an appreciative snort from the hedgehog's direction. Not that Kiyomine was looking down on the other student, but he had to give the kid credit for being so open and accepting about himself. Lesser men would have suffered a crippling humiliation with a title like that in the midst of all these talents, but Saotome had seemed pretty chill with the lot he'd drawn in life. Kiyomine liked him already. Once his coffee was gone, Kiyomine set his cup down and crossed his arms, waiting patiently for the... rather androgynous third year forensic scientist to finish with his self-introduction. Had Kiyomine not heard about the aforementioned murder case prior to this meeting, he wouldn't have guessed Lupei was anything but female. Awkward. "And I'm Shimazu Kiyomine," he jumped in with a nod to the rest of the room after Lupei had seated himself again. "I'm not an ultimate anything, just a jack of all trades. Hope's Peak would like to think otherwise though," he said, muttering his last words to himself. Honestly, why was he even here? Whatever, he was at the mansion already, might as well try to make the most of it. no tags MADE BY VEL OF GS

When Zulfikar arrived he was rushed with many emotions. Excitement, happiness, but mostly anxiety since he was so late. He entered the foyer and looked up at the welcome banner. After deciphering the childish scrawl, he took out his note pad and started writing. "This will be a great introduction to my field trip bit," he thought. Still out of breath, he rushed for the catering hall. He put his head down in esxhaustion and sputtered "Hello. *huff* *huff* My name is... Zulfikar, and I'm the ultimate comedian. *huff* and running here was a very bad idea.
He looked up and immediately put his head back down back down. "The people here are... interesting. I'm going to have more material than I thought." After composing himself, Zulfikar sits at the dining table and surveys the people around him. After perusing everyone around him, he takes his notes back out and starts writing.

Post by Daichi Calhoun on Jul 23, 2015 2:04:26 GMT
Heels clicked upon the floor of the entrance hall, a rhythmic tap-tap-tap upon the white marble. Black heels, white dress, black gloves, red hair. A smile upon the young woman's face as she walked with a purpose in her step towards the sound of distant voices. The dining hall of the mansion seemed to be the gathering point of her fellow students, and was therefore Calhoun's destination.
She was late. Fashionably so. She obviously had to make an entrance, a first impression, something to ensure the other students remembered her. It was why she'd brought her most iconic dress, and it was why the tapping of her heels could be heard in increasing volume from within the dining hall as she approached the door.
With a flourish, she entered. The doors swung open as if they bowed to her will, and as her voice rose it filled the space like an ambrosia of the ears.
"Gooooooooood morning everyone!" She called, her voice almost singing with joy. "It's absolutely lovely to meet you all today if I do say so myself! Now, I'm afraid I may have missed all of your introductions, but I'm sure in the coming days we will have plenty of time to get along!"
She walked down the length of the room as she spoke, towards the opposite end of the table where an empty chair sat at the head. She scanned up and down the other students, smiling as she looked and thought. What an absolutely eclectic bunch, from all walks of life. Did that guy have a sword? And one was the perfect picture of a cowboy. It was like she'd plunged into another world, where the usual rules of society didn't matter.
It was perfect.
With another flourish, she practically twirled as she pulled out the chair at the end of the table and sat herself upon it. She leaned forward onto the table, resting her elbows on the cloth and her head upon her hands, and a gentle smile beamed down the table towards her fellow students.
"It's my pleasure to make your acquaintances, everyone. You may know me already, but if you have not, my name is Calhoun. My talent lies in singing, performing, serenading, although some prefer to call me a "Prima Donna"." GREY!

Post by Izumi Makino on Jul 23, 2015 2:55:49 GMT
Of all the times to be late, it had to be the first day of school. Izumi underestimated how long it would take to find this fancy mansion. Whoever made that map should learn to draw better. Not much time had passed, so they couldn't be too for along with the proceedings. Regardless, it sucked to miss even the first few minutes of this wonderful event.
Thankfully she didn't have to wander around for long to find them. There was some loud girl making it easy to notice where everyone must be waiting. Apparently they were all talking about what fancy titles they were given. Hopefully. It wasn't important enough to ask, she could just improvise for now.
"My turn? Alright." She took a moment to properly walk into the room, making sure everyone could actually see her. There was definitely a lot of variety among the students here, and this probably wasn't all of them. "The name's Izumi Makino. I kinda don't really have a talent --I mean they call me the ultimate luck, but that's not really a thing to brag about."
Anything else she had planned to to say was quickly forgotten, as Izumi noticed the hologram in the corner. This place had its own computer lady? That'll be distracting.

"It looks as if the great majority of the summoned are now present." said Ai in a harmonious monotone. "We are missing a single student- the Ultimate Illusionist of our group, who is a man of many hats. Hikaru Sekigawa is his name, and he is able to pull off tricks ranging from so-called 'street magic' such as card tricks to escape artistry. He's a master of diverting the eyes and attention of others to make his actions seem superhuman, and he has never shared his tactics with others." she added.
"That will do for our introductions, I believe? You are a cast of very colorful students, yes..." she commented quietly. "Your room preparations have been ready- check the boxes at the center of the table- in each one, there is a card key with your name on it... scan it at the door marked with your name in the East Hall, and it will open your door. The rooms in which you are staying were handcrafted by Hitomi Siagyo. I'm sure some of you may have heard that name before?" asked Ai, showing another pleasant smile.
Siagyo was none other than a design student who had recently graduated college. She was a renowned interior designer who had started out her life as a flower arranger before attending Hope's Peak by riding on her family's money. She grew up to become one of the most famous brand names in the nation, "Siagyo" being printed on the bottoms of furniture across the nation's most stylish decor shops despite still being in high school. Now that she was an adult, it was estimated that her brand would take the world's design market by storm. The title 'Ultimate Designer' didn't even cut it for her.
"This morning, we'd prefer that you all simply try to settle into this place. Feel free to look around once you've finished your meal. We will begin our briefing somewhere around lunchtime this morning, so until then, please place your belongings in your rooms and try to get comfortable. Siagyo personalized each one of your rooms to try and match what she thought would appeal to you based on your talents and personalities, so we have no doubt you'll be impressed." she stated. "Now then, no one has touched his or her meal. Care to eat?" she asked politely, before footsteps were heard.
Into the room walked a rather short adult man with silver glasses, wearing a navy business suit and a gray tie. His hair was honey brown in color.
"Young misters and misses, I wanted to formally welcome you as Hope's Peak students! I'm the current vice headmaster of the school, and I've left to host this program here in Half Moon Mansion. I know you're not quite inside the school itself yet, but these peace talks... well, you could call them a special "honors program". Out of all of you who applied, every single one of you took the initiative to apply to this extra program. It brings warmth to my heart to know that tomorrow's business owners and entertainers have so much promise in the way of personality." he stated, seeming to have a friendly personality.
Following him, a tanned woman entered- she was wearing a similar suit jacket, but also had a pencil skirt and heels. Her dark hair was tied into a neat ponytail. "Good morning! I'm your junior advisor. Thanks again for attending- it means a ton that we were able to reach out to you. I know that not all of you probably applied out of your own free will... but I promise we'll make this a great time for you all! Think of this as a luxury stay... after all, did you know that there's athletic rooms in the basement? It's not all bedknobs and broomsticks, I swear!" she said. "Also, forgive me if I get your name wrong the first time around. The characters are misprinted on my documents... I'll just have to find a way to memorize them!" she assured enthusiastically. "For now, just follow Ai's directions. A good meal starts off a good day!"

The boy stepped in seeing everyone was here. ".....Sorry I'm late...." He said in a low tone. ".....I must've lost track in the time..." His eyes just wander around the room, just looking and staring at everyone in silence, not saying another word after those two sentences. "..." He pretty much had ZERO interest in everything like always. He just took his seat, not wanting anything to eat. With the bandages covering his mouth. He was VERY uncomfortable with just removing them so he can eat in the first place. It would've been best for him to eat in private. "......." He was silent for about a few more seconds. "..... My name....is Hikaru....Sekigawa.... the Ultimate Illusionist...." He said emotionlessly.

All of them seemed interesting, and in a way he was glad that he had gone first. Some came a bit later than the others, but he should not judge them for just one mistake. Not everyone could be early, and not everyone could wake up at five AM to prepare for this whole trip. While he did not live too far away from the manse, he had still woken early enough to make people think that the trip would be hours upon hours long. Brother had already judged him to hell and back for even managing to get into a school like this, but in the end he had been supportive of his endeavors. Mother and father were proud of their boy, and had been cheering him on in going to try and change the world for the better.
Yet, even as everyone finished their introductions and Ai told them to get their card keys, he was a bit out of it. He was not sure when it happened, but at a point he just blinked and stared down to the card key he had picked. It was a bit stylized with some markings, but it had his name and talent on it. A fancy piece of cardboard. Or whatever technology they could pump inside of this piece of cardboard in the end.
Was he being a bit... Bitter? Maybe he was getting homesick or something was bugging him, but not everything felt right. The introductions went smoothly, organizers were showing up, promises of a better future and other items here were being made, yet he could feel the knot in his stomach grow more and more, like there was something horrid building up. He always had an active imagination and he was probably just nervous enough to let it act up against himself. He slowly shook his head, keeping in silence and reaching for some plates.
Just some steak with marinade sauce, a good ton of milk, eggs to the side and some good plum salad. His plate might have looked like an utter mess to anyone but himself, but he soon dug in without much talking to the others.

Post by Rin Shirayuki on Jul 23, 2015 13:39:59 GMT
Rin was intrigued by the situation. Besides the strange, holographic woman beside them... this was going as planned. The meal smelled well-prepared, the advisors greeting them sounded nice enough... it was basically everything he expected. It would probably benefit him if he decided to loosen up just a little. His aloof personality was his default, but the vast majority of these students (perhaps even all, with some probing) seemed genuinely interested in everything that they were doing in order to come here, save that Lucky Student who came in here with a ballot. She should be happy, too, though! It wasn't as if anyone was going to bully her... it would be a peaceful two weeks of service and coexistence. Hearing about the key thing, he reached over to a box and gently plucked out the white card with the name Shirayuki printed in small letters. How futuristic! In a vintage mansion like this, he'd have expected traditional keys... but then again, this was 20XX. What did he know? With a glance to those nearby, he gently placed a few apple slices onto his plate, along with some of the toast and jam. It was a new living space, and eating something complicated in the morning could upset his stomach. "Thank you for the kind introductions." he told both counselors. Didn't both of them seem... young, though? Even the VP seemed not a wisp past the age of twenty-five. And the female advisor... she looked more like she could be someone's older sister than a professor, especially at somewhere as renowned as Hope's Peak. Then again, that school did hunger for young blood, so they were probably fresh out of 6-8 year colleges. Probably newer staff sent here to babysit before they got down and dirty into the teaching process. "Um... does anyone require extra sugar in their coffee? It looks as if they left the majority of the packets on the south side of the table. I'd be happy to get it for you."

Paris' gaze darted from Ai, to the headmaster, to the advisor. The woman looked familiar, but...she was sure they had never met. The woman did bear a striking resemblance to an old friend back home. As much as she hated to admit it, she missed her apartment. Sure, the noise around it was awful, but it was still a safe place. She looked around at the other students, and felt something get caught in her throat. No, she wasn't going to get teary right now. Not after she had just made her first friend, and been introduced to all the others.
“No thank you.” she coughed, pulling out her own keycard. Eins was boldly emblazoned across it, and she couldn't help but grin a bit at it. It felt like recognition, and recognition felt good.
She made her way around the table hesitantly, plucking toast and fruit from one table, and as many different cheeses as she could find. She glowered at the eggs on the plate next to her and quickly moved on, grabbing a tomato and a glass of water. It had been a while since she ate, she realized. She was too nervous to eat earlier, and her stomach was making her pay the price. She quickly began to eat her food, ignoring the others all around her so she could actually stomach the food.
As she ate, she took time to think about all the other students she had just met. She admired Ishin's talent immensely, but thinking back to her first and only cosplay, she quickly dismissed the idea of wanting to try it once more. Hikaru was...odd, but she was sure he was just shy. Maybe she could try talking to someone who was just as nervous as her...or Rin, they had surprisingly become friendly in such a short time. The other Americans in the room had formed a clique already, one she was afraid she wouldn't want to try to assimilate into. While it'd be easier to speak with them rather than fumble through her Japanese, Paris knew she couldn't match their energy. Petre interested her, and she'd love to ask about the Gabor case at some point. But maybe she was overestimating her own ability to talk to others. She would probably just fold at the first opportunity, but she knew that was going to change.
Still, she couldn't help but feel unease deep inside her after the introduction of Ai to the group.

Upon being told she could eat, Minako simply reached for her coffee and took a sip. She was a bit too excited to be hungry, and while she knew her stomach would pay later on... she just wanted the boost to stay awake. She selected her key card from across the table, and was getting rather eager to see her room. Siagyo was one of her personal muses and idols, and just hearing that she had something to do with this all made her all the more enthusiastic. "Thanks, Mr. and Miss Counselor..." she said, realizing that the two teachers hadn't given their names. 'Professor', would that be an okay catch-all term for the two? It sounded more respectful. She clasped her hands together suddenly, before clearing her voice to speak up. "I agree with all that! We're going to have a nice, undisturbed time. If we do indeed get some off time later... is anybody else free to perhaps explore the rest of the mansion? I'd love to examine some of the designs used here." she said, before turning to Jun and Sakura, her newfound friends. " Mr. Utaite? Ms. Lawyer? Care to join me on a fun little trip?" she asked coyly, despite the fact that she legitimately did value their kindness towards her. "Ehehe... maybe I can get some inspiration from everyone! I really want to draw a remembrance photo of everyone here to look back on, since I know we're going to make some great memories!"
