The Basics
Name: Hitoshi Tottori
Nicknames: Toshi, Totoro, Toto
Age: 17
Grade: Second year
Appearance: Pale skinned, standing at 5'6" he's rather short in comparison to some other males, yet this doesn't affect his personality at all. He has wavy hair that reaches his shoulders when straightened and halfway down his neck when not, this is dyed a plum colour though it's original brown. His eyes are a dull green though sometimes he swears they look more grey, they are rather girly. Clothing wise, he strays from what is deemed as manly. He wears a short sleeved, button up shirt that is light pink in colour, covered by a sleeveless jumper that is also pink, just darker in comparison. During winter, he wears a brown jacket wide open with black cuffs and collar, he also sometimes wears it when counselling people to feel more appropriate to his job. His trousers are usual khakis and his shoes plain black school shoes, he's far from fashion concious. AT times he will wear a red tie and put hair clips in to push his hair out his face, though this is rare.
Hometown: Kasaoka, Japan
Talent: Ultimate Therapist. He puts his natural talent towards being able to talk and comfort people to good use, helping others from a young age whilst specialising in Psychology in school. He has been a master of emotions and the brain since he was young.
Mini-Profile: Hitoshi was born to a rather big family in Kasaoka, Japan. It was there he grew up accompanied by his three elder sisters, in the care of their parents. Since he was young he was always good at stopping his sisters from arguing and crying, even helping them through any teenage trauma despite being several years younger. He did the same for his class mates the moment he started school, as well as a few teachers. Though this was only a brief listening and advice sessions. When his mother was involved in a terrorist incident in a nearby city, her life was consumed by anxiety, including Agoraphobia and PTSD. It was watching her like this that made Hitoshi research more into the brain, into emotions, into the job as a therapist. He listened into her phone therapy sessions and attempted to help her with information he gained through books and the internet.
He first came into the public eye when talking a teacher down from suicide after school at age 9. He walked in on his teacher about to jump from her classroom window when he talked her down, talking through her problems and issues with her, using his natural talent to comfort her . She left that classroom feeling better about life than she had before, leading news reporters to flock to the young Hitoshi. It was then his talent was discovered and he was taken in my a therapeutic centre to study and enhance his talent to help many more people.
Hitsohi had type 1 diabetes, diagnosed at age 7.
Favorite Color: Surprisingly Green, he wears pink people it is a soft colour and makes him seem approachable.
The Details
General Personality: Hitoshi is a generally nice person, brimming with confidence upon first meeting, wearing a wide smile as he introduces himself. He's perfected introductions and is naturally good at talking to others, people may find them telling him things they wouldn't tell others for no reason at all. Maybe it's the trust worthy vibe he gives off, an air of honesty, combined with his job, any one can talk to him with ease. He may seem a bit static when a conversation goes off a bit, using bad lines to restart it, reverting back to small talk. This is because he isn't used to having a long term conversation or friend, usually they all leave after a few moments of scheduled time. Hitoshi is very friendly but apprehensive to touch people and a little secretive. He doesn't wish to worry any one with his own issues, so while he can get others to open up in a few words, he himself has a lot of skeletons in his closet. The poor guy has his own anxieties and will be difficult to talk to when he's distracted by them, though the only major distraction to him is loud thunder. His job makes him quite stressed, but when he's relaxed and unwound, he is charming, funny and a good person to talk to.
Likes: Hitoshi loves paper crafts. He doesn't exactly know why, the processes of changing paper into something beautiful just fascinates him to no end. He also enjoys sugar supplements and detailed stories that really go into a persons mind, his favourite are usually crime novels or biographies. In addition, he plays pan pipes or at least tries to, finding soft music calming, often his office place classical music and whale noises. He is rather mature for his age. Even boarding on dull. Puzzles are also excellent to him, anything that challenges the mind! Even things like Bop-It that require memory. He branches from childish to mature in mere moments with the right and wrong toys.
Dislikes: He hates anything that seems too simple, feeling there must be something more to it. This is why he isn't too fond on quiz shows that ask questions he sees are boring and stuff that people wouldn't need daily. He also dislikes small animals because they noises they make as they run around annoy him, though he can put up with them a lot. In addition, he hates people who pretend to have psychological problems when they don't. Like peoples who you "Oh, I'm so depressed" when hey clearly aren't. He sees it as insulting and will tell people off for doing it.
Hobbies: Papercraft, Orgami, Puzzles, Reading, Simple instruments, Swimming, Cycling.
Aspirations: Hitoshi wants to help at least 1000 people, either by saving their lives or simply helping them through a bad time. He wants to leave his mark as one of the greats, wise and helpful to many. He wants to leave a legacy behind him and see peoples lives change for the better.
