Paris wandered the kitchen, looking altogether fascinated at its commodities. Okay, maybe it wasn't that amazing, but...it was more than she was used to seeing. Her apartment back home, despite the family's wealth, was pitiful. Small, cramped, and lacking even a stove. With all the traveling, her parents had instead focused on renting lavish hotel rooms. She pulled the different cabinets and cupboards open as she went, exploring and sleuthing to figure out what they contained. For now, her mind was off the grim reality they had all been presented. Instead, it was focused on the TV dinner she had just found as she took a quick detour into the walk-in.
“Hmm...I guess it's a little like home, now.” she muttered to herself, holding it close to her as she continued her walk. Was it a little pathetic that the TV dinner reminded her of home? Maybe. Well, probably. But it was good enough for Paris. She sighed as she found nothing else of interest, and she instead decided to hoist herself onto a counter to sit, inspecting the package of processed frozen food. Meatloaf. Gross...but heartwarming. She held it close to her chest, closing her eyes and breathing in the smell of food. It was a bit unfamiliar, all these fresh ingredients, but...maybe it would be better than all the frozen food in the long run. For now, she was making friends with the icy meatloaf.

Post by Junichi "iTchY" Kichise on Aug 27, 2015 20:54:33 GMT
It was whilst he was on his quest for Ishin that Junichi came across the kitchen -- he, Sakura and Minako had briefly peeped into the room on their tour, but he didn't enter due a feeling that he was infiltrating space he wasn't supposed to. It was unknown why he didn't get that vibe now, but the brunet suspected it had something to do with his want to avoid the ballroom.
When he found Paris seated on the counter top with meatloaf in hand, he blinked.
"Ah, hello! I don't think we've individually introduced ourselves, have we? I'm Junichi Kichise, the Utaite!" Recognising the androgynous appearance of the Librarian, Junichi quickly put a name to a face. "You're Eins, I think? The one who works with books?"
Jun's intense and intentional ignorance towards the Monokuma matter was commendable to say the least, but he felt somewhere deep inside of him cringe at how out-of-character some of his mannerisms came across. Paris probably wouldn't notice since she hadn't had any one-on-one conversations before, but Jun could easily sense the shift in his speech pattern. He continued onwards all the same.
"You must be really good at what you do if you got noticed by Hope's Peak. Like, all of the librarians I know are quiet so the talent has to speak for itself, you know?"
The poor lamb was rambling and in doing so made himself even more inconsonant.
{OOC- Ewwww. The Junichi muse is not channelling well today orz.}
