Appearance: Izumi stands taller than most at a good 6'3". Her body is naturally thin and not particularly strong looking. Contrastingagainst her tan skin are her blue eyes and white hair. The hair is kept at short length, not going far past her ears. Outfits never get too complicated; she only brought a white blouse and a blue skirt.

Mini-Profile: Her family was usually poor or out of work. Their unusual appearance was the only thing that really stood out to most. For the longest time she didn't really consider going to high school as a option. There wasn't really a point. Most of her grades were just good enough to not get held back. She always enjoyed playing games, but didn't have enough talent to be an athlete. Contests and raffles were fairly easy to win, but that's not enough for a career. Besides, most of her victories were due to half of the competition dropping out or not showing up.

Her parents still wanted her to try attending a good school, and if that wasn't a good fit she could drop out. Izumi applied to some of the hardest places she could think of, confident that none would work. Although she didn't remember trying to get into Hope's Peak, the acceptance letter showed up anyway. Maybe she didn't, and really was as lucky as the school said. Either way it'd be stupid to turn down such a great opportunity, so she quickly left to join the peace talks. With how average her life was, there should only be room for improvement.

General Personality: Izumi is certainly outgoing and likes talking a lot, but isn't particularly used to making deeper connections. Has a habit of pausing mid sentence, and will start a new topic without finishing the previous thought. There's a tendency to avoid lying or sugarcoating her words, which often causes what she says to sound worse than intended. She believes that honesty is the best option and any problem it causes will work itself out. Unless, perhaps, the other person has made it past the 'acquaintance' level and is considered a friend. In that case certain details might be left out, for their own good.

Cooperation is one of the most important parts of life. While in a group she tries to get everyone working to solve the problem together. Although, she's not confident enough in her ability to successfully manage so many different personalities and talents. Usually tries to find someone else that can handle the responsibility. She takes a lot of extreme risks, and doesn't want to cause others to lose everything.
