General Rules
1. No explicit content. Obscenity and vulgarity is highly discouraged. This primarily refers to graphic content (sex/gore), but there is no restriction on language use.
2. Be polite. Be courteous and kind to other RP members in the chat. Flame wars are prohibited. If another member breaks the rules or anything, please tell a moderator. Remember, a mean/upsetting character doesn't always mean a mean/upsetting RPer!
3. OOC posts and IC posts belong in their specific topics. No chat-RPing, and try to keep OOC talking in RP posts to a minimum.
4. Please post in the General board if you plan to take some time off from the site or are dropping a character.
Character Rules
1. One character per user. It keeps the game fair! Please change your display name to match that of the character you submit.
2. OCs only. Please come up with original character concepts, and do not borrow them from other Danganronpa characters or those from other series.
3. If you post a work-in-progress character application, you have a week to finish it. If you do not, your sheet will be moved to the archive.
Writing Rules
1. There is a word count of 200.
2. General threads will be set up in areas based on time. If you want to have your character interact with specific others, feel free to make a thread of your own that tags the person you want to talk to.
3. Plot-relevant statements or actions by mod-controlled characters will be posted in bold. If you want a specific piece of dialogue or an action from your character to be acknowledge, bold it.
4. This is a literate RP. Put in your best effort when it comes to writing, and proper grammar and spelling are expected.
5. Please post in-character at least once a week if you are not on hiatus. If you are considered inactive, your character will be dropped.
6. Investigations will generally take place over the course of a single day. Class Trials will generally take place over two. Don't worry, I'll notify you beforehand of the exact dates.
7. Victims and culprits are chosen at random. If your character is chosen, a moderator will message you, and the three of you will work out the scene, case and trial. Good luck!
8. If your character dies/is eliminated, you are free to leave the forum. If you would like, you can stick around to see how things proceed, but know that you will likely be unable to RP. We do appreciate your patronage, and thank you for your participation.
9. If the blackened is not found out in a trial, the chapter will restart from the time of the motive with any deceased characters brought back, but a new blackened and victims will be chosen at random.
