As Paris spoke, he looked around. Watching her pick up the books, but he didn't manage to glimpse any of the titles, not that it would have mattered to much to him if he had. He was more curious if she had a specific genre she liked best, maybe that was something he would ask next time they could talk. "I don't blame you, there's probably a lot more left to explore here" He thought out loud, giving a small nod "I'm sure we can take whatever books we like too, hah." The mention of the secret door made him look back at the bookshelf, then at Leo for a brief moment. He then shrugged and looked back at Paris. "Still gives us something to search here at least, right? Haha. I'll see you around later, hopefully. Then we can all hang out maybe at lunch or something. Presuming they have that here" He went back to thinking aloud a bit.
As Paris left, he raised a hand to wave back, humming slightly. After the door had closed, he turned back to the shelf and puts his hands on his waist, man there were a lot of books, but he was prepared to search them all if the other was. "I wonder...If there aren't any secret doors, do you think there might be a note hidden between any books? Like a treasure map, I think that's another thing that's common in books. With this setting I wouldn't be too surprised either" He had forgotten a bit about the laptop the other was searching for, allowing his mind to wander slightly, fuelled by the excitement of a mystery.
In the back of his mind, he thought about what the three of them could do together that all would enjoy, or if he should hang out with Paris alone first to find out more about her, like he planned to do with Leo right now. His intentions were friendly and almost like a second instinct he couldn't mute. Finding out about people and helping them was his job, as much as he wished to just see the outside of people and be happily friends with them. No, he needed to see more than just their public image first.
