( OOC: Lucca Bello) "Did I get that right? We're supposed to kill one another for a chance to get out? This is... This is horrible! I don't want to die yet! And the bear will kill us if we're caught? No, just no. This has to be a bad dream, or a bad movie."Daniel walked out of the ballroom after that bear-shaped explosive dismissed them. He had to calm himself down any way he was able to. The Procrastinator, as frightened as he was now, used the opportunity to explore the mansion some more. He shook his head in an attempt to dispel the negative thoughts in his head, but he failed. "I will die here with a bunch of strangers, unable to speak to my family. Why was I accepted here? Why did I even accept?", he thought. Before he even realized what was going on, Daniel found himself in the mansion's study, or so it seemed. For some reason, the Procrastinator felt that this room seemed even more elegant than the parts of the mansion he already visited. He thought it was the fireplace that made him think that way. Smiling, he took one of the many novels and sat down in a nearby chair. Waiting for no one in particular, he whistled a tune that he felt was fitting for the situation that he was currently in. |

Lucca had ran out of the ballroom as soon as that creepy bear told them they could leave. He had ran upstairs and started pacing up and down the halls, trying to make sense of the situation they were all in. "This is insane, this whole thing is just completely fucking insane. There's no way anyone will kill someone else...I hope" Lucca began to breathe faster and faster and he began to sweat profusely. "I just need a place to calm down, a place to just gather my thoughts." Lucca said to himself. Lucca reached into his back pocket and pulled out the key card to his room that he received earlier. "I'll just go lay down in my room for a while, maybe that will help." Lucca began making his way to his room when he passed by the study. When he passed by it reminded him that he had left some books in the library that he wanted to bring to his room. Lucca let out a deep sigh and decided that he should probably just leave them back in the library for now. "I can always just get them later, and I really don't feel like reading right now. I should just try to get some rest and figure this whole thing out." Lucca was stopped when he heard a someone whistling in the study. He figured that maybe talking to someone could help him calm down. He peeked into the room and saw someone sitting down and reading. "Umm, hi Daniel. I didn't expect to see anyone here. That whole thing in the ballroom was crazy, do you think it was all for real though?" { OOC: Daniel Saotome} |

Daniel looked up from the book he was reading when he heard Lucca's voice, and began to converse with him. "Oh, hello Lucca." He put the book on a table near him.
He sighed and began to speak. "If what that bear said really is real, then we're all going to die, except for the last... maybe three people, or something. Truth be told, this sounds like a plot to some crime thriller movie. Have you been in one of those?" Although he was worried, he smiled at the Actor. He seemed like a nice enough fella, and really, if he died then the world would lose real talent. That would go for everyone stuck in here, except for Daniel himself.
"So yeah", the Procrastinator continued. "What brings you here?" He was still smiling at him. Daniel couldn't let Lucca know that he was actually scared out of his mind and now tried to put on a brave face so that the Actor wouldn't be worried. He wasn't sure if he succeeded or not, but he felt that it was worth a try.
"By the way, have you gotten to know some of the others better yet? I've only talked to a few so far."

What Daniel had said filled Lucca with fear, and a sense of hopelessness. He'd like to believe that this wasn't real, but it became increasingly apparent that is was. "I....I just hope that we can all somehow get out of here alive. I'd like to believe that this isn't real,that this is all a bad dream but, after what happened in the ballroom its pretty obvious that this is real. All hell broke loose in there. I guess it's good that only one person was injured. Haruka....I hope she'll be alright."
"I've been in a couple. I've been in pretty much every kind of movie genre there is, except horror. I would never be in a horror movie. I enjoy watching them a lot and I feel like if I was in one then it would ruin them for me since I would pretty much know how it all worked. What kind of movies do you enjoy watching Daniel?"
Lucca let out a deep sigh, what was he doing here anyway? His mind was so jumbled that he couldn't even remember what he was even doing. "I guess I'm just trying to make sense of this whole thing. Heh, today has perhaps been the shittiest day of my whole fucking life. I just hope it will all be ok. I doubt anyone would try to murder anyone else, no one really seems to be that kind of person." Lucca may have said that, but in his mind he couldn't help but feel doubt growing in his mind.
"I've met a few people here. So far I've talked with Zulfikar, Rin, Kiyomine, and Paris. They're all very nice and you should probably meet them as soon as possible, although Kiyomine does intimidate me a little bit. When I was talking to him in the kitchen earlier I felt like he was gonna leap over the table and punch me in the jaw. But I'd rather not talk about that, who have you gotten to know so far?"

Daniel couldn't help but sigh.
"Yeah, I hope so too..." The Procrastinator replied. "But it really isn't looking good at all, considering that we're cut off from the rest of the world now. When Lucca mentioned Haruka, Daniel visibly flinched, before he resumed speaking. "I had a run-in with her, but not even she deserves to die at such a young age. That rage was frightening, though. I'm glad I wasn't on the receiving end of it." He let out a small laugh.
"Well, my favorite genres are action and comedy. I do like good action and explosions. I think I've even seen a few movies in which you starred. Those tended to be the best of the bunch. I'm amazed you aren't burnt out by now with everything you need to do." Daniel smiled at Lucca.
"I hear you. First we get here, then we're blown unconscious by who-knows-what and right after that we're told to murder each other? If there's an Ultimate Prankster or something working at Hope's Peak Academy, then he must be a major jerk." Although Lucca was a stranger to him, Daniel felt the same way.
Daniel was quick to answer. "I've talked to Haruka, Junichi and Amelia so far. I cannot recommend going to Haruka, but Junichi and Amelia are very pleasant people. I think you might like them. And yes, I want to talk to the others as well. All of you have such interesting talents!"
He then asked a question. "I hope my whistling didn't annoy you? I tend to do that when I'm stressed."

Lucca raised an eyebrow at this. "A run in? I didn't expect there to be any conflict here on the first day,especially before that dumb bear arrived. Would it be rude to ask what happened?" Lucca cleared his throat and took a deep breath. "What happened between you and Haruka? If you don't mind me asking." Lucca had hoped that he didn't offend Daniel by asking this, he was just really curious.
"Yeah she was pretty scary back there, haha." Lucca had laughed, but inside he was pretty ashamed. He had remembered how he reacted to the whole thing. It was pretty unprofessional to say the least. "And umm Daniel I wanted to apologize for how I acted back in the ballroom. I completely lost my cool and it probably wasn't a pretty sight." Lucca probably didn't need to apologize but something inside him told him that it was the right thing to do.
Lucca couldn't help but blush at this. He felt very flattered. "O-oh umm, thanks Daniel. That really means a lot." Lucca had the biggest, goofiest smile on his face as he said this. Lucca usually became very awkward when gets flustered or embarrassed, he couldn't help it.
"I actually did get burned out a lot at first, but over time I guess my body just adapted to all the work as time went on." Lucca had never really realized how much work he actually did. "Hmm, I guess I really do do a lot of work. I guess I just got used to it after a while since it became a part of my daily life."
"Oh no it didn't bother me at all, it was actually a very nice little tune. Where did you learn it?" Lucca quite enjoyed music, he listened to it pretty much whenever he had free time. Music helped him forget about all of his stress and worries. He remembered that he left his phone and headphones in his bag that he left in his room. He would have to go listen to some music later and just....relax.

Daniel could figure that Lucca was curious when he told him that there was trouble. He felt anyone would be if he kept being vague like that.
The boy with the glasses didn't mind at all, and so he began to speak. "Long story short, Haruka thinks I'm the scum of the earth for merely existing, or something. Actually, she straight-up told me that I'd die in a ditch s0mewhere unless I'd began to work. And she insulted Hope's Peak as well, but that's none of my business. I did say though that all the work in life anybody did didn't matter when they were dead. I'm pretty sure it's my fault that the bear appeared."
The Procrastinator was surprised when the Actor suddenly apologized to him of all people.
"There is no reason to apologize", he said. "You just had a normal human reaction, like just about everyone else." He then smiled in an attempt to reassure Lucca. "Really, I had zero problems with you being angry. Zero."
Once Daniel saw Lucca's goofy face, he couldn't help but laugh.
"Haha. That sounds oddly familiar", he said while grinning. "Junichi said the same thing when I praised his work earlier today, before the bear arrived." If Daniel was good at one thing other than taking his time, it would be making people feel good. He for one can't stand it if people are down. There are exceptions to that rule, though.
When the subject changed back to whistling, Daniel only began to whistle the beginning notes of the tune from earlier.
He replied honestly. "I learned that tune from a video game I like. Most of my favorite tunes are from video games, but there are exceptions. Junichi's music is really good in my humble opinion as well."
He then tilted his head slightly. "Is there anything else you'd like to ask me? I'd feel bad if I just dropped all my questions on you, you know?"

"Oh so what you're saying is that you're the mastermind behind this? Haha...sorry that was a bad joke. I guess that's why Zulfikar is the SHSL Comedian and I'm not." Lucca tried to sound as natural as possible, but he ended up just sounding like a fool. "Dammit Lucca, how could you say something so stupid. I should just keep talking and maybe he won't think about it too much...I hope" Lucca took a breath and continued the conversation. "But seriously, I wonder who really is behind this, whoever it is, they must be one sick son of a bitch."
"Oh I guess that's good, haha. I just would have felt weird if I hadn't apologized. I don't really lose my cool like that very often so I just wanted to make sure." Lucca gave a small smile. "Thanks for being so understanding Daniel. I'm glad that even in this horrible situation we can still be friends." Lucca was having fun, it was good that he was able to take his mind off of that bear for a while. He started feeling like there was a way to survive after all.
"Oh really? That's pretty cool. I've played a few video games in my life. I would play more but I just never have the time for it anymore. I've just had so much going on recently. Maybe after this is all over I could take a small break from showbiz and I could start playing some more. Do you have any game recommendations?"
"No there's nothing I really want to ask right now, but I just wanted to say: If you ever need anything, just feel free to come ask me. We're friends and we all need to stick together here if we're going to survive this." Lucca had a serious look on his face, but even so, he was scared, he didn't want to see anyone die, he just wanted them all to be safe.

Daniel laughed when he was 'accused' of being the mastermind. Fully aware that it was a joke, he replied. "Yes, I am indeed the mastermind of this. You solved the mystery, and now all of you can go home." His voice then turned a bit more serious. "Besides, it'd be a scary coincidence, wouldn't it? I'm a procrastinator, and if I got other people to do most of the work for me, it'd fit the reason why I got here. Brrr, perish the thought..."
When Lucca mentioned the 'sick son of a bitch', the Procrastinator raised his index finger in a scolding, but still joking manner. "Now, now, let's be fair, shall we? It could be a sick bitch behind of all of this as well." Daniel knew that he wasn't being serious, but he thought that all possibilities need to be kept open.
Furthermore, the glasses-wearing student nodded when the Actor proposed that the two of them could become friends. Beaming a smile, he stretched out his arm and awaited a handshake. "Sure thing, Lucca! Let's be friends and escape this place with a beating heart and a warm body."
Daniel had to scratch his head when Lucca asked him for video games he might enjoy in his free time. "I don't know what genres you enjoy, but I can generally recommend platform games, puzzle games, visual novels and Roleplaying games. Maybe I can recommend survival horror games as well, even though you mentioned earlier that you wouldn't want to be in one. I absolutely can't suggest sandbox games, though. I think they're boring."
He nodded at Lucca's suggestion. "Thanks, Lucca. I will." During the time spent with the Actor, Daniel didn't realize that he was getting hungry again. He then got up and was on his way out of the study. "We can only hope Lucca that this will be the case. Some of us are already have bad blood with others. I need to keep mine low, you know? In any case, I'll see you later, okay?"
With that, he left the study.

"Haha yeah..." "Its kinda scary to think but..is the person who did this one of us? Maybe...but still why would they do this." Lucca still had growing doubt and fear in his mind but...it wasn't as much as he had before. Talking to Daniel really had helped him feel better after this hectic day.
Lucca smiled at this and then began to snicker. The snicker then turned into a laugh that lasted for good three minutes. "Zulfikar may be the SHSL Comedian, but you're not half bad either Daniel. Maybe someday you and Zulf can put on a show for everyone together, well if you two get along."
Lucca extended out his arm and grabbed Dainel's hand and shook it. "We'll be looking out for each other. Let's make sure to both make it out of here alive!" Lucca had a determined look in is eyes and was smiling a very triumphant smile. "We can get through this, if we do it together."
"Well just because I wouldn't be in one doesn't mean I wouldn't want to play one. I love being scared every once in a while. Thanks for the recommendations, I can't wait till I get to try some of them."
"Yeah, definitely." Lucca smiled at Daniel as he left the study. "That was...fun. I really needed that. Haha...Thanks Daniel."
Lucca got up out of the chair he was sitting in and left the study. Lucca had remembered those books that Paris had found for him in the library. "Hmm I might as well go grab those books. If we're gonna be here for a while I might as well have some things to keep me entertained." Lucca then began walking downstairs towards the library feeling better than he has been all day.
